Common   Questions

What are your weekend services like?
Our weekend services are fun and purposeful (Yes, we think church should be fun)! Our services are Jesus-centered and life-giving, with the whole person and entire family in mind. They’re designed to be both relaxed and engaging, spiritually charged, inspiring, and encouraging.

When you arrive you’ll be greeted at the door, and given a bulletin with helpful information and news about upcoming events. We encourage you to make yourself at home, and help yourself to free donut holes and coffee. A Serve Team Member can answer any questions, show you around, and help you find a seat. Our Worship Experiences are easy to follow, and usually last about an hour and ten minutes.

What are the messages like?
The messages are fresh, down-to-earth, and practical, helping to make the Bible applicable to your life. Every message is geared to speak to you right where you live, as well as to challenge, inspire, and equip you to be all that God has created you to be.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting The Mission Church we will not embarrass you, single you out, or ask you to give money. We understand that trying anything new takes courage and can be intimidating at first. A Connection Card can be found inside your bulletin, and is available as a way to find out more information about us or to help us get more acquainted with you. We encourage guests to make themselves at home, and see if this is the place that’s right for you.

What kind of people attend The Mission Church?
People from all kinds of backgrounds attend The Mission Church. Young and old, varied religious backgrounds, different occupational status, but with one goal: to live BIG, becoming the kind of people God has in mind. Some people have been followers of Christ for a long time, while others are just getting started. Chances are you’ll find people just like yourself, hungry to be in real connection with God and others.

What about my children?
Your kids will have an incredible time. Whether they attend Mission Kids (Ages 0-6) or Xcelerate (Ages 7-12), your children will be in good hands with qualified staff who share your concern for giving your kids the very best. The children’s services have well prepared lessons, fun activities, exciting music, and meaningful interaction.

What should I wear?
We invite you to come as you are and be comfortable. Most people will be dressed casual or business/casual, but if you like to break out that suit every once in a while, be our guest!
